Three Day Diet
This a low calorie diet used for quick weight loss. The diet plan contains a menu plan of foods that must be strictly adhered to over a 3 day period. While successful for short-term weight loss, the 3 day diet plan often results in diet rebound when people finish the regimen.
Vegetarian Diet
The majority of vegetarians do not eat animal-based foods, except for dairy, eggs and honey. A variety of studies in recent years have shown that vegetarians weigh less, suffer from fewer diseases and have a longer life expectancy than meat-eaters.
Vegan Diet
A person who is a vegan will not eat anything that is animal-based, including dairy, eggs and honey. Vegans believe that the modern style of farming is bad for the environment over the long term. Vegans believe that all food should come from plants, not from animals.

Mediterranean Diet
The Mediterranean Diet attempts to mimic the eating habits of the people of the Southern Europe. The focus is on plant foods, fresh fruits, nuts, cereals beans, and olive oil as the main sources of fat. Cheese and yogurt, fish and poultry and small amounts of red meat are also consumed. Red wine as a beverage is also part of this diet.
Whatever diet you choose, you will have to be sure that you stick with it over a period of several weeks in order to see the weight loss results you are hoping for. Try to find a diet that will match your lifestyle and your likes and dislikes when it comes to food and drink. That way you will have an easier time sticking with it for the medium-term. Not every diet is suitable for every person, so you really have to go with your instincts and choose the one that you feel gives you the best chance of success.
