Doing A Quick Detox

Many people want to detoxify their body because they feel that it is going to help them lose weight and feel better. It is not entirely true, but it is a part of the whole process, and usually the weight that is lost via detoxification is only water weight, and it doesn’t really contribute to the overall fat loss, but it does drop your weight. The difference is that this water weight can come back within a day, if you consume the same stuff that you have been consuming that caused the water to gather in your body. Doing a quick detox can help to motivate you to a weight loss challenge, but in the end it is more of a healthy thing to do than a way to really burn fat.

Why would you need a quick detox?

I know that most people won’t accept the fact that the food that we are consuming isn’t the healthiest type of food that you can get. Even if you eat a lot of vegetables and low fat meat, you are going to take in a lot of chemicals that will enrich in the adipose tissue and also in the liver. Some chemicals and particles are also left to the walls of your intestine, and if you want to be able to live a healthy life without these chemicals, you will need to start eating organic foods that are watered with water that hasn’t come from the sky where there is pollution. So basically it is almost an impossible mission, and that is why doing a quick detox every now and then might be a good idea.

Getting rid of stuff in your liver is probaby the easiest thing here, as it is metabolically quite active and produces its own enzymes that are created solely to get rid of unwanted chemicals. You will need to boost the production of specific enzymes, using specifice detox kits that contain herbs which increase the production of these enzymes.

When it comes to your adipose tissue, it gets quite difficult. Usually very toxic chemicals are stored in the adipose tissue, and they don’t come out until you lose that fat – hence you will have to lose weight. Once you lose that weight the toxins slowly start to release in your bloodstream, where they travel to your liver which takes care of them, one way or another. So you will need to lose weight!

A quick colon detox is usually done with fiber supplements that absorb a lot of water to themselves and at the process they might get rid of the outermost layer of cells in your colon. Psyllium is usually used, and if you want to get specific instructions about the dosage you should consult your doctor – just like before doing any type of quick detox in the first place!
